Getting Started at Camp Ruff It
STEP # 1
Create Your Pet Profile
Before your dog’s first visit, you’ll create an account in our client portal and register your pet. During registration you will provide:
- Your contact information
- Your dog’s basic information
- Veterinary records
- Emergency contact details
STEP # 2
Upload Vaccination Records
To keep every camper safe and healthy, we require proof of current vaccinations before your dog can attend Camp. Required vaccines include:
- Rabies
- Distemper (DHPP)
- Bordetella
All dogs must also be in good health and on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Dogs must be at least 4 months old to attend Camp.
STEP # 3
Schedule Your Dog’s Screening Visit
Every new dog completes a behavior screening and half-day trial visit with our team. This visit allows your dog to:
- Explore the facility
- Meet our staff
- Slowly meet other dogs
- Get comfortable with the Camp environment
The enrollment fee is $30, which includes the half-day trial visit. During this visit our trained staff observe your dog’s social behavior and comfort level to ensure Camp Ruff It is a safe and enjoyable fit.
STEP # 4
First Day at Camp
Your dog’s first day is designed to be a gentle introduction. Please bring:
- A 4–6 ft leash
- A quick-release collar with ID
- Any meals pre-portioned and labeled if needed
- Medication with instructions if applicable
We provide all toys, beds, and enrichment activities to ensure a safe group environment. Our team supervises playgroups and places dogs with companions that match their size, temperament, and play style.
STEP # 5
Start Booking Daycare & Boarding
Once your dog completes their screening visit and is approved for Camp, you can begin booking services anytime. Services include:
- Daycare
- Cage-Free Boarding
- Enrichment Add-Ons
- Special Event Activities
For boarding stays, new dogs must complete:
- One half-day daycare visit
- One full day of daycare before their first overnight stay.
This helps ensure your dog is comfortable with the staff, routine, and space.
