Something Special in Wheaton We Had to Bring to Camp Ruff It

April 23, 2026

There are some businesses you partner with because they’re a good fit.

And then there are the ones that feel personal.

Neer Beer is that for us.

Jason, the owner, is a close family friend and someone we genuinely respect. When he opened Neer Beer in downtown Wheaton this past fall, we were so excited to see it come to life. And after spending time there, it’s easy to understand why it’s already becoming such a special place in the community.

Neer Beer is a non-alcoholic bottle shop, but it’s more than just shelves of products. It’s a thoughtfully curated space built around the idea that you can still have a really great drink experience without alcohol.

They’ve created a place where you can come in, explore something new, and actually enjoy it there. You can grab a drink, sit down, and take your time. It feels intentional, relaxed, and welcoming in a way that’s hard to find.

Personally, I’ve tried some of their lemonades and margarita-style drinks, and they’re some of my favorites. They’re fresh, balanced, and genuinely enjoyable. Not a substitute for something else. Just good on their own.

But what really stands out is the experience they’ve built.

They host events, bring people together, and have created a space that feels inclusive and community-driven. It’s also dog-friendly, which makes it even better for those of us who love being able to include our dogs in everyday life.

That’s exactly why we knew we wanted them to be part of our Preview Party.

Neer Beer will be on-site, giving our guests a chance to experience what they do in a really fun way. They’ll be serving their “Cosmo-paw-litans,” a non-alcoholic twist on a classic, and it’s one of those details that just makes the whole event feel a little more special.

This is one of those places we genuinely love and want more people to know about.

So if you’ve never been, this is a great introduction.

And if you have, you already get it.
